Sculpture reliefs

While studying at OCA, we had the privilege of being taught by guest instructor Anita Kunz. The assignment at task was to create an illustration for the record review page of Rolling Stone magazine. Anita has created many amazing pieces for multiple publications over the years. Her work sits in the Smithsonian!

I used FIMO (polymer clay) as a kid and it occurred to me that I might be able to use it to create some really cool 3D sculptural reliefs.
I chose Jamaican reggae artist Buju Banton standing proud in the hills.
This led to several large pieces soon after.
